ファーガソンが言語調査に対し、社会調査的なことも考えていたんだなあということがしれてよかった（小学生並みの感想）

わかりやすい言語政策研究の発展段階。わかりやすすぎる気もするが、トマス・リセントが言ってるんだからそうなんだろう（権威主義）

言語計画に関する概論。言語政策・計画をめぐる、いろいろな分類（区別）が紹介されているが、So what? 感が満載な区別もある。（区別することで、議論がよりクリアに整理されるというタイプの区別が理想よね）
